Wyre Lodge of Mark Master Masons No 754
 
Advancement meeting Wednesday 18th February 2026 at the Masonic Hall, The Esplanade, Fleetwood.
The WM, Bro. Jim Gregson, welcomed everybody and opened the meeting with 16 members plus the candidate present.
A number of Officers were unable to attend the meeting, with those present taking on those roles; WBro. Paul Smedley (Chaplain & IPM), Bro. Keith Carter, WM Cleveleys Mark (JD), WBro. Clive Gitsham, WM Imperial Mark (IG).
VW. Bro.  James Frances Rogers gave a memorial for MWBro. John Herbert Prizeman who had recently passed away. The Brethren stood for period for departed merit.
A ballot was taken for the candidate, WBro. Mark Spragg, which proved successful and the officers of the Lodge worked through an excellent ceremony of advancement. VWBro. Rogers acted as SD and expertly guided the candidate through the ceremony.
WBro. Tom Egan gave an explanation of the tools.
WBro. Tony Cross presented the newly advanced Brother, with a welcome letter from the RWPGM and a Mark tie.
The Lodge business was finalised, which included the election of Bro. Steve Willingham, SW as Master elect for the ensuing year. Bro. Willingham thanked the Brethren.
The WM closed the Lodge and the members and visitors retired to the bar and onto the festive board; all day breakfast.
WBro. Mike Brown ran a Fleetwood fiddle and raised £106 for Charity.
